So we have finally reached our OPEN milestone for the Ice Rink.The closed signs have been removed and a bench and some rubber mats have been put out.We would like to send a huge shout out to all our volunteers and their time and effort that has got us to this point. You are truely amazing!!!Going forward the volunteers will aim to lay a thin layer of water when needed and only on nights when we believe it will freeze entirely by morning. When the teams floods it’s usually done from approximately 7:30pm-9pm. If you notice the fresh water on the ice please avoid the ice until the morning.How else can residents help going forward? If it snows there is a shovel under the bench. Please feel free to clear off the snow when you are out there. There is signs by the road that state the rules of the rink. There is a maximum occupancy of 13 people on the rink at a time and the rink is not intended to be a hockey rink.Thanks everyone and enjoy! ... See MoreSee Less

WHO WE ARE

The Sage Hill Community Association (SHCA) is a not-for-profit organization that proudly serves the residents of our community.

The SHCA is run by the board, a group of dedicated neighbourhood volunteers who organize, manage and direct social and recreational events in the community. The SHCA works with various levels of government to consult and mediate issues arising in the areas of community development, transportation, parks and green space.
